We Accept Visa or MasterCard.
Overdue accounts are subject to a 1% per month (12% per annum) service charge.
All prices are in Canadian dollars.
All shipments are F.O.B. Pickering, Ontario.
Prices are subject to change without notice.

No Hassle Return Policy

We are committed to giving you the best customer service possible and stand behind the products we sell.\Products may be returned for a full credit if returned within 30 days of the original purchase date with no re-stocking charges, within the following guidelines:

  1. All returns must be pre-authorized by our office, Please detail your returns on our Return Authorization Form and fax (or mail) it to Playit Direct within 30 days for authorization.
  2. B) All returned product must be in original or “NEW” condition and original packaging.
  3. Please remove any price or store stickers.
  4. All goods must be shipped freight prepaid.
  5. There are no returns of custom, special order or container buy products.

Discrepancies

Please notify us any discrepancies within 7 days!
If upon receipt of an order from Playit Direct, you discover any discrepancies or problems with the order, please contact us immediately. We reserve the right to refuse credit if contacted more than seven days after you receive your order.

Defective Product

Please contact us immediately upon discovery of a defective item. Defective product returns require a return authorization and will be replaced or repaired within the manufacturer’s warranty period. We arrange and pay for the return freight. Any product damaged in shipping should be claimed with the carrier.

Special Terms for Container Orders

  1. Allow 5% for defectives and shipping issues. No claims can be made if the claims are less than 5% of the value of the shipment.
  1. All products are warranted against defective materials and workmanship subject to the 5% defect allowance for 90 days from receipt of shipment. NO WARRANTY on cues. Please provide a copy of customer invoice and photos, etc. for warranty claims.
  1. Payment is due in advance of container being loaded for ocean freight.
  1. No changes or cancellations can be accepted after order confirmation.
  1. Any discrepancy in the order must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
  1. Production and transit times specified are always approximations and may     vary accordingly.
  1. Landed prices subject to Peak Season Surcharge (PPS) as per Steamship lines.
  1. Door rates include one local delivery to door within city limits (based on presently valid trucking rates but subject to fuel surcharges with or without notice); CP and CY rates exclude local delivery. Some Waiting or Drop Charges may apply.
  1. Container must leave container yard or container port within 2 day grace period to avoid penalty charges. Any storage charges will be charged without notice.

Dealer Requirements & Guidelines

REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME AN AUTHORIZED DEALER

Own/rent/lease a physical retail storefront in a business or commercially-zoned area in a location not currently covered by another authorized Playit Direct dealer.

Provide proof of business such as a local or Provincially-issued business license, seller’s permit, or resale certificate. We may require photographs as proof of business at any time.

Must adhere to our retail advertising policy. (pg 5)

Must make an initial one-time order totaling $500 (wholesale).

Dufferin Billiard Dealers must make an initial one-time order of 24 or more cues totaling $1,000 (wholesale) or more.

REQUIREMENTS TO MAINTAIN AUTHORIZED DUFFERIN DEALER STATUS

Purchase a minimum of $1,500 (wholesale) in cues during a calendar year.

Display Dufferin Billiards point-of-purchase materials.

Keep account current at all times.

Display an appropriate representation of the current line of Dufferin Two Piece Cues (12 to 18 cues or more). We also suggest having an additional 6 to 12 cues on hand to rotate and replace your stock.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DEALERS WHO SELL VIA THE INTERNET

Must meet all of the requirements to become an authorized Playit Direct and Dufferin Billiards dealer above.

Advertised prices must be in compliance with Playit Direct’s Advertising Policy (pg 5) and must be clearly stated.

The use of special advertising options for retail customers to dictate their own pricing on current model cues (such as "make an offer", or similar options) is strictly prohibited.

Advertised offers of additional discounts on current model cues (via coupons or otherwise) is also prohibited.

Must not use online auction sites for auctioning new, current model cues. You can use online auction sites to auction discontinued models only.

Must display and sell ALL current model cues on your website.

Utilize the photos, logos, graphics, and programming supplied on a disk by Playit Direct for use on your site whenever possible. Utilizing any images or design elements from the existing or previous Playit Direct websites is prohibited by copyright law.

Must purchase a minimum of $10,000 (wholesale) in cues within a calendar year to be listed as an Internet dealer on the dealer locator feature of our web site.

You are required to register your own domain name and maintain a viable shopping cart website.

Trademark Usage

USE OF TRADEMARKS

Playit Direct owns the “Playit Direct”, trademark and uses the “Dufferin Billiards” “Nemesis”, “180 Case”, “Jett Games” trademarks with permission for use in the sale of these products.

We have developed these guidelines to protect consumers from being misled by any individual or entity trying to divert consumers through inappropriate use of the “Dufferin” trademark in the sale of “cue sticks for pool and billiards.”

Only authorized Dufferin Billiards dealers are allowed to use the Dufferin logo/trademark in the sale of Dufferin cues to consumers and other businesses.

Authorized Playit Direct dealers may use only the Playit Direct or Dufferin logo/trademark issued to them in the form of camera-ready artwork, diskette, CD, or an electronic mail message sent by a representative/employee of Playit Direct.

Authorized Playit Direct dealers may not use Dufferin, Playit Direct, or any other form of the aforementioned with punctuation or other words in their Internet domain names, business names, or brand names. To do so would be a direct violation of trademark and copyright laws.

The design of, text used for, and logos and photos used in our advertisements, product brochures (catalogs), on our web site, and in any other promotional materials are exclusive property of Playit Direct under trademark and copyright laws. Re-printing, copying, reproducing, distributing, transmitting, uploading, downloading, storing, displaying in public, scanning, altering, or modifying the content of any such materials is strictly prohibited.

ACCEPTABLE USES OF OUR TRADEMARK BY AUTHORIZED DEALERS WITH PERMISSION

Playit Direct, Dufferin Billiards, Jett Games, Nemesis or 180 Case logos.
“Dufferin” brand name in the description of cue sticks for pool and billiards.

“Dufferin, Dufferin Cue, or Dufferin Billiards” in the description of Dufferin Billiards as a manufacturer of cue sticks for pool and billiards.

Any images (logos, photographs, etc.) provided by a representative/employee of Playit Direct.

Cue descriptions and advertising slogans (“Unmatched in Quality, Unrivalled in Play”, etc.) exactly as indicated in Playit Direct literature and advertisements.

Advertising Policies

RETAIL ADVERTISING POLICY

Authorized Playit Direct dealers must clearly display our suggested retail price (MSRP) on all Playit Directs featured in advertisements, catalogs/brochures, and other advertising/promotional mediums including the Internet (web). THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE ADVERTISED RETAIL DISCOUNT TO THE END USER IS 20% OFF OUR MSRP. This policy applies only to current models/lines. Special pricing may be used for discontinued model cues. The final selling price at the time of the sale is at the seller’s discretion. We encourage all authorized Playit Direct dealers to emphasize value-added promotions in the sale of Playit Direct product so as to preserve the integrity of our suggested retail prices.

WHOLESALE ADVERTISING POLICY

THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE ADVERTISED WHOLESALE DISCOUNT IS 40% OFF OUR MSRP. This policy applies for business-to-business sales of current models/lines. Special pricing may be used for discontinued. Authorized Playit Direct dealers who distribute (wholesale) Playit Direct products to other businesses must implement a retail advertising policy (similar to ours) for their down-line dealers.

INTERNET ADVERTISING POLICY

THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE ADVERTISED RETAIL DISCOUNT TO THE END USER IS 20% OFF OUR MSRP.
This policy applies to internet sales of current models/lines. Advertised prices must not exceed the maximum allowable advertised retail discount and must be clearly stated. Special advertised pricing may be used for discontinued models only. The final selling price at the time of the sale is at the seller’s discretion. We encourage all authorized Playit Direct dealers to emphasize value-added promotions in the sale of Playit Direct products so as to preserve the integrity of our suggested retail prices. The use of special advertising options for retail customers to dictate their own pricing on current model cues (such as "make an offer", or similar options) is strictly prohibited. Advertised offers of additional discounts on current model cues which would exceed the maximum allowable advertised retail discount (via coupons or otherwise) is also prohibited. Online auction sites may not be used for auctioning new, current model cues. They may be used to auction discontinued models only.

VALUE-ADDED PROMOTIONS

Value-added promotions involve “adding value” by offering something extra with the purchase of a Dufferin cue. Including a free carrying case, providing a certificate for free tip replacement or pre-season cue tune-up, offering free shipping, offering free table time, etc. are all examples of successful value-added promotions.
These types of promotions actually cost less than the decrease in revenue resulting from direct discounts off our MSRP. There is significant room for creativity in the development of effective value-added promotions.
You should experiment to find out which promotion(s) work best for your specific market.
